I'm wondering now what my watchers would think if someone told them I was dead.
Well I'm very thankful I'm not.
My family and I were on our way to Orlando this past Saturday in our new RV. We were so happy to have it and be on vacation again; only to have bad things come our way one after the other. Saturday afternoon at about 3pm I believe, a car sped and hit us in the front left side on i75. We were knocked and sent sliding into the grass beside the highway at around 70 mph, rolled and ended up flipped over on our top when it was over. My mom was driving, my dad sitting on the sofa, and my brother in the back bedroom, while I was in the passenger seat. My dad had a dislocated shoulder, and my brother and mom fortunately survived with only some bruises and small cuts. Our dogs were injured, but are okay as well. I was in the worst shape, after having the passenger-side window shatter when we hit the ground the first time. It's extremely amazing that I wasn't actually wounded more than I am; or anyone for that matter. At least 20 people or more stopped and came to our rescue off the side of the highway...It was just unbelievable. Everyone is healing quite fast, and we recovered a lot of our possessions from the crash as well. Still in a Florida motel, hopefully we can get home in the next few days without any more trouble.
...One vacation I'm sure to remember for the rest of my life.
Sorry everyone, but I just need time to get to things here. Believe me when I say it will be awhile. I just got out of the hospital Monday night after being there for 3 days. I'm slowly healing and beginning to walk again, although I am mostly bedridden. I can barely use my left arm, but fortunately I'm right-handed and my right arm is completely movable.
I saw my laptop and tablet as I crawled out of the vehicle after the accident, and they recovered my laptop but sadly I'll have to get a new tablet.
Really, I am just so happy and blessed to be alive today.
